At the Canadian Cancer Society, we are committed to improving and saving lives. That’s why we are always looking for new ways to prevent cancer, find it early and treat it more successfully. It’s why we’re always ready to give people with cancer the help and support they need to lead more fulfilling lives.
The Canadian Cancer Society has worked hard to meet rapidly shifting needs as the COVID-19 pandemic changed our world. With the help of donors, we modified many of our in-person programs to keep everyone safe. For example, we strengthened our existing telephone and web-based programs to provide additional support to men who reach out. We have also created new services, including a webinar series on cancer and COVID-19, that gives people living with cancer the most up-to-date information.
With your support, we are building a better future for the 1 in 9 Canadian men and their families who will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. We invest the generous donations of Canadians towards funding research that will uncover better diagnostic and treatment options, and towards providing comprehensive education and support services for those living with and affected by prostate cancer.
